this game has huge issues, it is not fun in the state it is right now.
the swarm effect just isn't really present, higher difficulties just make enemies tankier and have more damage, the damage part is fine but then you feel like you're not dealing this much damage to enemies and you don't feel like a space marine, you feel like a regular dude.
no diversity or replayability what so ever and not that good looking of a game.
all around this is a game i would not play even for free.
if you are a real gamer, do not buy this game you will be extremely disapointed.
perks you unlock are dull and really not that useful, you spend a lot of time walking from one point to another or waiting in elevators.
long ranged attacks from the enemies destroy your armor really quickly preventing you from enjoying the melee fight, you find yourself in a postion where either you shoot and don't do anything else or fight with a melee weapon but get killed by long ranged attacks.
all of this makes the game honestly unplayable.
i would give this game "i would have enjoyed it for 3 hours max if i was 8 years old and bored because it's raining outside/20"

This is my very first Warhammer experience. I've only ever heard of some of its lore, have a few of their Magic: The Gathering cards. Anyways, the first play through, I did on Veteran, Solo. Took 11.2 hours to complete. I wouldn't bother playing it on the harder difficulties.. there's no achievement for completing the campaign like that. As it stands, I'd say I've gotten about $35 - $40 value from the experience thus far.
We will see where this game goes with its Updates.. Hopefully it just gets better from here.

- Game looks good
- Execution system is fun
- Cinematic experience
- Expensive
- Difficulty setting is trivial, enemies just have more health
- Linear playfields

For the emperor !!!
- graphiquement splendide.

It's a great game, especially with friends in coop.
The swarms of tyrranids are a highlight, the devs made World War Z before and it shows.
Fighting the tide is pretty enjoyable, based on parry and finisher in close quarter and ammo management at a distance, classic stuff but competently made.
Story is straightforward but in a good way. It's no fat no bullshit open world, it has a satisfying conclusion, it's faithful to the Warhammer universe lore (the visual details are truth enough that the devs are fan, made me want to buy some minis).
This all sound like common sense, things you would expect in a new release but considering the level of the AAA market, it's a miracle.
The main enjoyment is the secondary missions where you get to have persistent progression: skills to unlock, equipment to upgrade, armor customization... the fact those are not in the campaign is a waste, worse it's not explicitly shown that those are the best gameplay elements !
It's like if GTA made the campaign a racing game and added the open world element in an undisclosed obscure menu.
Multiplayer PvP is okay, it's very team oriented and time-to-kill can be very short as a result. It's a great way to show off your customized armor unless you play as the bad guys who don't have much customization to offer (yet, it's on the roadmap, but what is not yet in the game should not matter here).
I can not judge optimisation, I have a PC build to kill Gods. Still it's long to load sometime (even on a SSD).
There are DLC for more armor parts, it's only aesthetic and there are many element to unlock for free by playing, no lootboxes.

- Beautiful
- Warhammer 40k knowledge not required but rewarding for the fans
- Great secondary missions with progression
- Said secondary missions hidden in the menus
- Long loading times
- Main story mode lacks replay value
